Bodega Beer Company, located at 19523 Hess Road in Parker, Colorado, isn’t just a taproom, it’s a reflection of the town’s strong sense of community and local pride. Launched with a vision to create an inclusive, welcoming environment, Bodega combines small-batch brewing with the charm and versatility of a classic neighborhood bodega.

“We decided that the bodega theme still really hit hard with us,” said General Manager Mallory Gillette. “It’s a small community store. Whether it’s a quick bite to eat, or a trip to talk to their favorite person, people can get a lot of stuff from a bodega.”

Though the team plans to brew on-site with experimental small batches, Bodega Beer Company also showcases a rotating selection of craft beers from across the Denver Metro area. This mix ensures variety while reinforcing their commitment to local flavors and makers.

But Bodega is more than beer. The company has created "Port Forward," a no-cost initiative to give local nonprofits and businesses a space to connect with the community. “It is meant to be a space for nonprofits to come and set up in any capacity they want to. It was just really easy for us to give that space,” said Gillette. “It has evolved to giving space to businesses to pop up, sell their wares in whatever capacity, without a fee.”

After exploring neighborhoods around Denver, the team found Parker’s community spirit unmatched. “We have people offering to make slate coasters for us in their home,” Gillette shared. “We just have a lot of great community.”

As Bodega continues to grow, it remains rooted in the belief that beer is best served with connection. “The only common denominator here is that we serve beer,” Gillette said. “And that is something that a lot of people enjoy drinking.”
